What is the On The Road Again project?
On The Road Again is a platform for you to easily keep and share your road trip experiences. You can include your photos from Picasa and Flickr, videos from YouTube, comments and related blogs and show them all together, to whomever you want.
How can I participate?
First you need to register. Then you can upload the road trip route you want to display and include your photos, videos, comments and related blogs.
How do I create a Road Trip?
Step 1: plot out your complete road trip route on the map, with all the waypoints.
Step 2: describe your trip: include tags and the start and end dates.
Step 3: click on each waypoint and upload relevant photos, videos or comments.
Step 4: once you’re happy with the trip, click on Publish Road Trip – you’re done!
Can I add any trip to my favorites?
Yes. There are two ways to do this:
1. Choose a trip you have completed.
2. Choose a trip you would like to go on in the future.
How do Road Trip tags work?
Add your favorite trip tags to your profile, and each time someone publishes a trip with those tags, they will be added to your favorites.
When I finish a road trip route, is it published immediately?
No. When you save your road trip route, it is filed as a draft. To publish it so that anyone can see it, you have to click on Publish Road Trip.
Can I keep my Road Trip Routes private?
Yes. You can do it in two ways:
1. When you register, choose not to share your content.
2. Save your Road Trip Route as a Draft, without publishing it.
Countries & Languages
Residents of any country on earth may use the On The Road Again platform to publish their road trip experiences. However, some activities and marketing initiatives are restricted to these six countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
How do I change the website’s language?
Look for the item Change Country on the header. Click and choose your country.
What are the countries and languages presented at the website?
Argentina: Spanish
Brazil: Portuguese
Chile: Spanish
Colombia: Spanish
Ecuador: Spanish
Venezuela: Spanish
Latin America: Spanish
Worldwide: English
Can I enter my YouTube, Flickr and Picasa logins and passwords safely?
Yes, your logins and passwords are not recorded and will not be used by Chevrolet in any way.
How do I close my account?
Go to your registration page and choose "close my account". Once you do that all your personal information and Road Trips will be deleted.
What are tags?
Tags are keywords that you associate with your Road Trip for it to be easily found by people who are using the search tool.
Can I link a trip blog to my Road Trip?
Yes, you just have to insert the feed at the proper field and include the name of the blog.
What’s a widget?
A widget is a small app that performs a few limited functions. It can be installed on personal pages, blogs and, sometimes, on your desktop.
How can I include a widget on my personal page or blog?
Go to the Widgets page, choose which one you want to include and click Get Widget. Then follow the step-by-step instructions.
What kind of content can I publish?
You may publish text, images or video content. The text can be entered right into the description fields. An image is optional. You can also upload your YouTube videos and Picasa or Flickr photos.
